The map above shows the approximate locations of the current Implementation Units (yellow stars) in relation to the tree fruit production areas (in orange).

Implementation Unit Facts

  • The 14 Implementation Units from 2008 were reorganized at the start of 2009: some were combined, others were relocated resulting in 11 IU's including 1 hispanic speaking group;
  • Members are geographically spread throughout central Washington, as indicated by yellow stars on the map;
  • There are approximately 130 active members representing over 70,000 acres of apples as of 4/2009 with an additional 200 people receiving newsletters.
